"Our stay had a rough start, but overall ended up being pleasant.
Before our arrival, I contacted the host (Nam) because we were traveling with two children and expected to arrive around 11:00 AM. Since check-in was after 2:00 PM, I asked if early check-in might be possible. The host told me to call when we arrived.
When we arrived around 11:45 AM, I was informed that our reserved 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment was not available. The host offered two separate units next to each other, but I declined because we were traveling together as a family and specifically booked a single apartment. We were then asked to wait while someone took our luggage.
About 15 minutes later, we were told that although we had booked the apartment for 3 nights, it was only available for 2 nights and that we would need to move rooms during our stay. After a long flight from the U.S. with two tired children, this was very frustrating and disappointing.
Fortunately, after discussing the issue, the host was able to honor our original reservation, and we checked into our apartment around 1:50 PM. From that point on, everything went smoothly. Communication improved, and the remainder of our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.
While the arrival experience was stressful and could have been handled better, I appreciate that the host ultimately resolved the situation. Overall, we had a good stay and enjoyed the property."
