Dtayef here before COVID and we remember it being clean and decent for the price. This time, floor was very dirty walk in shower had lomg rextangle drain full of hair and no water pressure, but we was on the third floor.

Don’t stay here if you need sleep!
The walls were incredibly thin allowing you to hear all conversations from neighboring rooms. Also, tons on street noise. Additionally the in room air conditioning was very noise and had a musty smell. Worst night of sleep!!! Pay extra to stay somewhere quieter!

Targeted and extorted.
They stole our $100 deposit our last overnight trip because a housekeeper said she smelled smoke. The one from this trip will probably be stolen as well. I did not know I was charged until the day I checked out. All because I answered yes to a smoker being a part of our party, which is the first thing they ask and they did put a note of that in my account. The person from our party who was a smoker, wasn’t even allowed to smoke around me or the kids because I am allergic and so is one of my kids...No one from our party smoked in or even near our room. All the rooms I have been at this motel have had a slight stale smoke smell probably from coming in from outside through the HVAC units. It is an outdoor entry. Housekeeping leaves the doors wide open while cleaning the rooms as well. Any passer by could have caused the smell (assuming it’s not a lie). We are very clean people. This trip the smoker was not on. Let’s see if housekeeping “smells smoke” again. Probably, because it’s a money racket. I will never stay there again. What other people do outside my room should not fall on me. The DM, Tony Wilhelm was very condescending and rude to me when I asked why our deposit was withheld. I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times. And the one and only time I answer yes to a smoker being a part of our party, who did not smoke anywhere around our room, a housekeeper magically smells smoke. This is extortion.

They stole our $100 deposit money. We finally heard back from the DM as to why we were charged. The housekeeper said she smelled smoke which could have came in through their HVAC units from someone smoking outside. We stayed again not knowing of the charge and we anticipate them trying to keep that deposit too. One of the first questions they ask is does anyone smoke. Don’t answer yes or you will be extorted. No one from my party smoked in or even near the room. I’m a non-smoker and can’t even stand the smell of it and don’t want it around my kids, who were with me. The DM was condescending and rude. A slight smell of smoke is not definitive of someone smoking. All their rooms I’ve stayed in had a slight stale cig smell to them but it wasn’t overwhelming. That are from outside!
