This is a beautiful historic hotel in downtown Columbus. The staff is incredible but the building is showing its age. The facade and interior show some deterioration and the rooms show wear and tear. The wifi connection was poor, if not unusable, and the fitness center could use some love.

The hotel is a beautiful old historic building with a pretty grand lobby. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The Italian restaurant and bar was good. Wait staff were very nice. My room was pretty small, but in an older historic building I can’t complain. The bed is very comfortable, the shower was nice.

Knowing it was a historic hotel we didn't expect perfection on appearance. We also knew the room would be small-neither of those were an issue.Staff was friendly and helpful. But a lumpy mattress, HVAC immediately outside our window running all night, no washclothes in bathroom, no answer at front desk, out of conditioner in the shower.. all things that should be available 24/7 made our 20th anniversary miserable
