Worst experience in all our vacations
We where moved into the resort cause the room we book through you at hawthorns across the street was terrible this was at 11:30 just to go to this so call 3.5 resort at this point we’re tried this room had cobwebs hanging from ceiling then Check bed out it was nasty the comforter was stain with food the sheets had stains. The young man that can to fix the problem change the sheets 3 times before he found some clean ones at this point we’ve been standing for a hour it’s now almost 1am so the chair in the room was nasty I wouldn’t let a animal sit on it they tried to hide it by flipping the pillow. So my Neice was in a twin bunk bed it had left over hair from another human but what took the cake was it had BLOOD all on the inside railing so she wasn’t comfortable so I called Hotels.com and they talked to nite managers of going on 2am which put us in another room 3rd move by this time were to tried to go anywhere else but when we left out for the day came back we could smell the mildew in the room. And when we left to start back home when we checked in a Awesome room in Ga. I could smell the oder from where we left.

Wyndham International Dr
Entering the facility, the lobby was clean, modern and chic, the line for check in was a bit long, maybe 7-8 parties, with only 2 staff members signing people in. I figured that the line could go pretty quickly, but it was over an hour wait to be checked in. One staff member was working as fast as he could, I forget his name- wore glasses, maybe initials JF? However, Suzette was the other staff member checking ppl in and she was going so slow and worse thing was when she was done checking one person in, she would finish up whatever work she had to do which took another 15 min. and then took another customer to check in, I didnt understand why she couldn't have checked people in first and finish other things later when there was a line of people grunting. I thought it said included breakfast when I booked online but I guess I didn't have that according to the person who checked us in. Boo. Next after check in I noticed the place looked like multiple Travel Inns grouped together, it didn't look like what I signed up for. They ran out of rooms so they upgraded us to a wheelchair access wooden floor room which I don't prefer. The bathroom for being a Wyndham resort was disappointing. I went to the gym and asked another employee when the sauna closed, she also wasn't talking to me with a warm welcome, more like bothered and annoyed. Fire alarm went off in our room at 1140pm/2am bc the heaters in the other rooms were never on. No direction from front desk, they hung up.

After I arrived at the location and checked into my room I received a knock on my room by the local police who stated that they had received a complaint about noise coming from my room. I ask the police officer who made the complaint and they said that someone called them and that we were to loud and that they didn't want to have to come back to my room again I was in shock when they mentioned that I was making noise late at night and that someone made a complaint. I didn't quite understand why they had been summons to come to my room when I only checked in 1 hour ago and spent most of that time unpacking and preparing for my business meeting for the next day. I asked the office who lodged such a complaint and when they arrived at the door did they detect any load disturbing noise They replied that someone complained and that they don't want to have to come back. After I assured them that they would not be coming back to my room for any reason they left and I returned inside the room (1265) I didn't know what to think of the encounter so I called the front desk and ask if there had been a complaint about me or my room and was the night attendant, who checked me in,aware of any complaint made that required the police. He said that he did not know of any incident that require police intervention in particular to my room. I asked if he could look into this for me and get back to me before I checked out in the morning he said ok he would look into it. So far nothing

Good hotel, but disapointed.
We started of in a room that had some sort of ants or bugs. Stayed there for the first two days, and then packed our things, went to the lobby and asked to be moved to a different room. That was approved, but that whole thing took about half a day. The person which we dealt with that day was very nice and professional, but something went wrong or some kind of a misunderstanding which lead to us waiting in the pool area for a few hours to get the key to our new room. They did give us a family of four a voucher which we could use for food or drinks for our troubles. The pool area is nice but there is not much for the kids to do other than just swimming in the pool or playing catch in the pool. We stayed there during Hurricane Irma, and the staff was very good in making us feel safe, and did as much as they could to make the stay during Irma be as pleasant as possible. The hotel does charge $25 fee for use of resort. This is something that is not included in the booking fees on the website, and is charged at the hotel. This I was not aware of and was surprised when they told me that I was to pay the resort fee. My booking said "Your booking is payed for incl taxes and fees" This I though would cover all fees. But after they charged me and showed me that with some effort you can actually find the fine print that says that you will be charged.

Good but not great.
We stayed at this hotel only because of an event that was taking place here. For the same price, we have stayed at much better hotels in the area and we regret not staying at those other ones ie. Double Tree, Marriott, Hilton etc. The property is mostly buildings that are no more then 2 stories high, which means its spread out. With kids everything can be a walk depending on which building you are in. The kiddies pool and adult pool locations were great to keep an eye on the kids and still get some swimming in. Highly recommend Coopers Hawk restaurant, amazing wine tastings and pairings. Great selection of choices, really can not go wrong, everything was amazing. Front desk is hit or miss. It can be dead in the lobby and really convenient, or it can be a disaster with extremely LONG wait times and lines that move at a snails pace. No one likes to wait, extended waits make the experience even worse. Im never a fan of additional resort fees that nickel and dime you to death, this is one of my biggest pain points about this stay. Careful what you use and pay attention to every detail of all the additional charges, they add up quickly. A $120/night hotel stay will average about $250, this is absurd. My biggest pain point was they promised a strong, consistent WiFi connection in every room. BUT You need to PAY EXTRA if you want consistent and strong. Their complimentary WiFi prevented me from opening my gmail account with 2-5 minute load times per page. Absurd.
