Trang is a city and province located southeast of Krabi in southern Thailand, famed for its beaches, offshore islands, brilliant limestone mountains and vast national parks. Just northeast of the city in Khao Pu-Khao Ya National Park, you will find the Tham Matcha Pla Won cave with its deep pool filled with fish. Also in the park is the Riang Thong Waterfall. To the southwest of the city, you will find Hat Chao Mai National Park with the island beaches on Ko Kradan. The Khao Chang Hai Cave is another attraction for spelunkers, with thousands of stalactites and stalagmites.

In the city, visitors can explore many urban escapes, including the Phraya Ratsadanu Prdit Mahisara Phakdi monument and urban park and the Trang Clock Tower, an iconic photo site. At the Chinta Trang Market, you can explore many independent shops and vendor stalls selling locally handmade arts and crafts as well as souvenirs and gifts. Traditional Buddhist sites here include Wat Hua Khao, Wat Tantayapirom Phra Aram Luang and Wat Kaphang Surin.
