White Sand Beach is the first beach that you’ll see when you get off the ferry to Koh Chang, and is one of the most popular. The 3-km-long beach is divided into 2 areas. The northern part is much more relaxed and only has a few bungalows on the sand.
In contrast, the southern part is quite a lot busier, with restaurants, bars, and even a few nightclubs. You won’t find a lot of water sports going on, but plenty of sunbathers and swimmers frequent this section of White Sand Beach.

Pearl Beach is not like the other sparkling sandy beaches of Koh Chang. In fact, it’s made up of stones and rocks, and you'll be hard-pressed to find many sunbathers here.
In that case, what makes Pearl Beach a top beach in Koh Chang? The answer lies within its waters. It offers some of the best snorkelling on the island, with beautiful reefs and tons of marine life to see about 50 metres from the coast. Come here for a bit of underwater exploration on the island.

Lonely Beach, despite the name, is anything but lonely. It’s where most backpackers seek out cheap bungalows in Koh Chang. There are also several bars and restaurants for those looking to get a cheap drink or hear some live music.
Lonely Beach is a nice place to visit during the day, too. The only thing to note is the lack of trees and sun loungers on the beach. It’s a good idea to pack your own umbrella and beach towels before making your way here.

Bailan Beach is small and relaxed, with a mix of sand and rocks fronting the Gulf of Thailand. This is one of the least developed beaches in Koh Chang, with only a few accommodation options and restaurants. But that's exactly what makes it a great beach.
It's not crowded or overwhelmed by partygoers but has decent access to everything you need, not to mention the fun you can have while snorkelling in the waters. Bailan Beach certainly isn't the place to go if you're looking for loud nightlife, but for a quiet and romantic evening, you won’t be disappointed.
