Potato Head Beach Club is one of the most popular chill-out venues in Seminyak that's right next door to the W Bali - Seminyak resort. Its access from the main Jalan Petitenget road is similar to W’s, with a long and narrow lane that transports you to a world of drinking, dining and seaside partying.

From the end of the driveway, you’ll see the quirky architecture of the beach club, particularly its trademark tower comprising a patchwork of old and worn teakwood window shutters. Designed by ‘cinematic’ architect Andra Matin, the signature structures and main venue resemble a stadium or coliseum. The narrow, curved path into the beach club makes you feel a little like a gladiator entering battle.

The beachfront bar is surrounded by an expanse of grass, which on regular days usually quickly fills with crowds sunbathing. There's also an infinity pool with standing tables arranged around it. With a small kids' pool also apparent, simply means Potato Head Beach Club is a great escape for weekending families, too. A few steps down from the pool, you hit the sandy coast.

During special gigs, international DJs and celebrities take the stage in front of an ocean backdrop, while lively crowds gather over the central lawn. Among those who have graced the stage are Mark Ronson, Foster the People and Fat Boy Slim. Potato Head Beach Club also plays regular host to world-class EDM festivals.

Potato Head has 3 restaurants to choose from, serving sustainable seafood, authentic Indonesian cuisine and casual pizzas. There's also an excellent cocktail bar serving signature creations from visiting mixologists.

After your meal, have a browse in the shops at the front of Potato Head selling a range of beachwear and fashion jewellery.
