Close to Airport
We needed a one night stay close to airport as our flight was the following morning so this place was perfect! They have a shuttle service that was very easy to arrange. They have a complimentary breakfast but unfortunately our early flight didnt allow us to enjoy it. Very clean and very good communication response.

Our room was modern, clean, and larger than many. Everything operated appropriately. We appreciated the motorized room-darkening shades. Staff was very helpful and polite. The hotel is not right in a business district but is only about 2 blocks away from many restaurants and the interesting boats and canal. We were a little concerned about the safety of the area after dark but had no problems. Some nearby places had lots of garbage sitting out, which did not look appealing. The staff is not on location overnight, but we were given directions about turning in keys and letting ourselves out of the locked gate as we had an early flight. We left too early for breakfast, so no comment on that except that the breakfast area looked very pleasant! Taxis to and from the airport were 25 euros plus tax, using the white local taxis. The taxi ride was about 10 minutes from the airport.

FCO airport is 15 minutes drive from the hotel. Sunsets are gorgeous and a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Airport shuttle service is available upon request and is 8 euros per person each way. So many dining options walking distance. The front desk lady, Simona was very welcoming, kind and caring. I would definitely recommend and stay here again!!!

So the place was pretty ok at first glance, but the area nearby was not very good. Transportation was very limited in and out. The frustrating thing was a clear sign when we checked in that there was absolutely NO FOOD OR DRINK allowed in the rooms. What???!!! No. I would not recommend that to anyone. You are in dark alley, with no real explanation about how to get thru gate to room. Bed was ok. Very low, and kinda itchy sheets and bad pillows. It reminded me of backpacker hostels.

we wish we knew about the shuttle from the airport so we would not have been ripped off by the cab driver. we took the shuttle back to the airport to pick up our rental car and it was a far better experience. Aurora recommended a delicious restaurant for dinner that was an easy walking distance over the river - Cielo.
