Don’t waste your time and Money on this Hotel
I recently stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott in Agra, and I must say this was one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had with a Marriott property. We had three rooms booked, and each had issues that are simply unacceptable for a hotel of this standard.
Our rooms had an unpleasant smell, were dirty, and had ripped carpets. On top of that, there was no concierge service, and when we did try to ask for assistance, the staff had little to no knowledge about anything we inquired about.
I had specifically requested our daughter’s room to be decorated for her birthday, and despite confirming this request in advance, it wasn’t done until after I complained—this was extremely frustrating.
As someone who stays at Marriott properties often (even on this trip, I stayed at three other Marriott hotels), I can confidently say that this particular property does not live up to the brand’s reputation. I will never stay at this hotel again.
The only saving grace was the restaurant staff, who were genuinely caring and provided excellent service. Unfortunately, their efforts were overshadowed by the numerous shortcomings of the rest of the hotel.
