Beware: Staff Fails to Secure Guest Belongings
During my stay, I left a valuable gold chain in my room. After housekeeping cleaned the room, the chain was missing. I immediately contacted management and security, but unfortunately, it was not recovered. What disappointed me most was how the situation was handled — rather than helping me resolve the issue, management seemed more focused on shifting the blame. To add to the confusion, I found a note in my room offering someone else 30,000 Hyatt points as compensation for a similar issue. When I brought this to their attention, management quickly took the letter, claiming it was meant for another guest. If you're concerned about the safety of your personal belongings, I would recommend reconsidering staying at this property. My experience has left me questioning the level of security and accountability provided here.

Customer service from the majority of the staff was excellent. The property is very dated and is under renovations. The quality of food was extremely disappointing. The drinks even in the Club area are watered down drastically . We have stayed at other Hyatt properties and I would say this definitely does not rate as a 4 star. What is good is the private beach and the cleanliness of the beach. Not a lot of vendors arrive and it’s very quiet.

Such a beautiful property and a lot of restaurant options so you do not get bored of the food. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. They have a place in the lobby where you can plan excursions. They help get you taxis and every time you leave the property they track you which is nice and keeps you more safe. The ice and water is fresh which is HUGE. I liked that the resort wasn't overcrowded. There was always room in the pool and none of the dining facilities were too full. I traveled in a group, and some of my friends had hot water and plumbing issues in their rooms. My water was amazing. It was always hot and sustained pressure. I appreciated the AC & ceiling fan in the rooms. Most hotels in Mexico don't have good air conditioning, but ours was good in the room. However, it was always hot throughout the hotel (in the dining facilities, lobby, etc) This made it hard to stay out and actually enjoy the hotel because of constantly being hot. The staff was super friendly, but slightly annoying with the "presentation" thing. At times I dreaded going past them downstairs because I would get hounded about doing the presentation. They were never rude, just a little pushy with it even after we were not interested. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The view was beautiful and the Asian restaurant was our favorite!
