I chose this property because of the reasonable price compared to other hotels closer to the centre of town and was relieved on arrival to see that it was so nice. This hotel is just a few steps from a subway station on Line 4 which affords easy access to Seoul Station and other lines. The area is busy but safe. The hotel itself was very nice indeed and the staff were lovely (they arranged a taxi for us from the cruise port to the hotel when I requested it by email/Experdia message, and also arranged for the taxi to the airport after our stay).
We had the breakfast buffet most days and it was good - a mix of Korean and Western, including noodles, fried chicken, bulgogi, soups, cereals. The food was warm rather than hot - everything was in chafing dishes, but the lids were mostly up, with lamps above. There's a dinner buffet only on Saturdays. We really enjoyed our stay at the Arirang Hill Hotel and would recommend it.
