Maybe I stayed in not super clean room
Stayed at Cordis for one night during a long layover. Shuttle service was quick and easy. Friendly and helpful driver. Requested for a non-smoking room on hotels.com. But the initial room we were given was a full of cigarette smell. So we changed it, which was ok. However, when someone smoked in the bathroom either up floor or down floor, the smoke entered the bathroom and the entire bathroom smelled again a full of cigarette smoke. Stayed on the 4th foor. The view was nice. The window was broken however. Had a breakfast buffet, which was open until 10:30 am. When entered around 10 am, pretty much every food was still being served, except they were ran out of juice. Shower had excellent water pressure and was steaming hot. No toiletries due to a city regulation. So bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. Bed and pillows were comfy for me, at least. The biggest drawdown was cleanliness. Out of 10, I would give 4 at most. Dusty in every corner. Inside the water boiler wasn’t cleaned. The drain was kinda clogged. Not the level of cleanliness I would expect from over $100/night hotel.

Food and service is excellent. Staff is super nice and always ready to help. There is just one issue. When I walked in the breakfast buffet at 1st floor around 7AM. Feels like most of food is already gone and everyone has to wait quite a while to find something to eat. This happened twice to me.
