Huge disappointment
The building was very pretty and the location was great. But it was not a great stay overall. Although the staff was very friendly, the service was bad. We ordered room service using the QR code provided in the room which had a few items listed, mostly drinks, and pizza. We only received half our order and then some items were wrong. When I called, they fixed the order but then wanted us to sign a receipt that was more than the original cost. As far as I can tell, they fixed it, but it was a hassle I didn’t want to deal with on vacation with a kid. The biggest disappointment was that they closed the towel shop and beach chairs an hour after check in. I understand that it was chilly, but the reason why I booked this hotel was for the beach amenities. It was my daughter’s first visit to the beach and the resort fee was supposed to be for beach chairs, towels, beach toys, and s'more's as but none of those were available because they were “closed” by 5pm. She still had fun, but I had to stand instead of lounge as I planned. Although the room was pretty, it was run down and I’ve never stayed at a hotel that didn’t have spare blankets in the room. The AC didn’t seem to work, but we just opened the door. The biggest plus was the balcony sunset and great views. And the room was pretty stylish. But other than that I was displeased with the stay. For the price, I would have expected a much cleaner stay and access to all the amenities or a refund for he resort fee.

Unpleasant stay
This was my second time staying at Sole. I think this recent stay was a deciding factor for me to not stay at Sole anymore. For this being a 4 star resort, surprised they do not offer complimentary water bottles like other stays. Parking is non existent so you are forced to pay $40 a day. The elevators were extremely slow, one elevator didn’t work. The final factor you could not exit to the pool level to get to the pool or beach. You have to walk around the hotel and access. Using the public access entry. This was extremely difficult for my husband who has a bad knee from knee surgery and had to walk down that slope of a driveway to access to pool or beach. Really disappointed with this recent stay.

Nice location
The elevators are very slow and took us 20 minutes to get down from the 18th floor. Other than this issue, the stay was pretty good. Location is nice and walkable to many many restaurants and bakery

Loved the stay!
I really had a pleasant stay here and want to give it a 5-star review, but there are few things that prevent me to do so which I will include below. Room - I had the Ocean View room on the 21st floor which was majestic! great view of the ocean and the beach both from the room and the living room! It was very spacious, comparable to sizable 1 bedroom apartment with a living room with a gigantic full-size mirror my wife loved, 1.5 bathrooms, bedroom with a tv, and fully functioning kitchen with microwave, induction, refrigerator and dishwasher. I really liked the bath tub which was deep, and overhead shower providing vertical flow. As you can see from the photos, the view and balcony were amazing. Service - No real complaints of the service, the staff were courteous and fast. Housekeeping was pretty good, and they take care of your dirty dishes as well. I do wish the front desk had changes for my $20 bills so I could break them for tips. There were spots on the kitchen surfaces that were not cleaned. Location - Sunny Isles Beach is a great location. The beaches are pretty and quiet, and the hotel give you access to the beach spots with towels and everything. Also, there is Walgreens and decent restaurants within 10 min walking distance, which is a big plus. Downside is that it's quite a ride if you want to hit up the main areas of Miami Beach or Miami. Misc - Elevators is the worst part of the experience. The hotel does not have a separate service elevator for its staff, meanin

Beware balcony 'relaxation' and accessibility
Don't stay here if you want to sit on your balcony to enjoy the view or if you have mobility restrictions! We were disappointed to find no furniture on the oceanfront balcony, which meant we couldn't actually 'relax' on it (website says 'relax on your balcony'), since that was the reason we booked that room type. We were also quite disappointed in accessibility, we were traveling with a wheelchair. The driveway up to the lobby is EXTREMELY steep and basically impossible to push a wheelchair up. When we asked at the front desk about how to get out of the hotel to the street with a wheelchair they first suggested going down the steep hill, then suggested going down stairs, which obviously wouldn't work, and finally said we could go down to the parking garage and exit that way. However, our key card didn't give us access to that floor so every time we wanted to leave we had to go to the front desk to request that we could be let out. This was a bit annoying, and was exacerbated by the fact that the 3 elevators were extremely slow (often waiting >10 min for an elevator to get from our floor to the lobby, then another >10 min wait to get from the lobby to the parking garage). On checkout day, we had to wait almost 40 min to get from our floor down to the lobby due to slow and packed elevators (we got on the 6th one that arrived). The employees working the beach were very helpful with assistance getting to the loungers (much closer together than shown in the pictures).

Ltd housekeeping
It took 3 days to get our room serviced. Each day they made a different excuse. One day they claimed that the "Do Not Disturb" sign was out - but it was actually showing "Clean this Room". Ultimately they admitted that the staff didn't look at it. Pool very small. Very close to beach with good services there. Beds not comfortable

The property was in a great location. The Baleen Kitchen was great I tried breakfast, lunch, and dinner there. My only complaint was the experience I had with my room. The rooms were clean and had beautiful ocean view like I booked. However my first room flooded from the bathroom, so I changed rooms and my second room had a broken and faulty door lock on the external door. The manager was nice and worked to resolve these issues however it did take up a lot of time overall during our stay.

This is a beautiful facility and the staff was fantastic about everything. Parking was a challenge and expensive but not uncommon for a place like this and the restaurant had a limited menu and again expensive but those 2 items were easy enough to live with as I liked everything else about this place.

We needed a room in order to get away from Hurricane Milton. Was not informed about "Resort" and "Valet Parking" fees which amount to $303 for three nights. They did waive the pet fee, though. We have a 7" scratch on our gas cap filler cover, which a disgruntled parking employee may have done. Not happy about that. Service was excellent. Did not need to stay in a resort on the Atlantic, but available rooms elsewhere were limited. Our suite had a kitchen, which helped us cook our own food. Collins road out in front was very busy and somewhat scary with drivers going 50 MPH.
