Overall, hotel is OK. Our room was clean enough. Unfortunately pillows are not comfortable at all and bad was not so comfy too. No full size mirror in the room. No great service at the restaurants and in buffets. Very poor choices of meat and fish, the veggies and fruits choices are good. No activities at the beach on adults section, the entertainment was not great. You are not getting good services at the beach bar if you are not giving a tip.

Firstly, the resort is new and very clean very well kept. I’ve been to Punta Cana numerous times but this is the first and more than likely the last stay at The Serenade. The food was not good at all and we weren’t able to book the steak house during our 4 night stay because they were all booked and only open on Friday and Saturday. It was very clear that most of the staff did NOT want to be there. Most had bad attitudes and were not friendly especially the bartenders. They(bartenders) talked about us in front of us not realizing we understood some of what they were saying. The nightly shows/entertainment were maybe an hour long and after that, everything(the resort) was dead. I will definitely stay somewhere else next time until they can work out the kinks.

For a newly opened property I was surprised with the not so cleanliness of the room. I found hair on the bed and the bathroom seat had a piece of hair on it too. The walls were stained with red dye not sure if it’s blood or anything. However, the resort overall is good. Love that it was kinda quiet and not much people at the pool area. The family side def had more people. The drinks are sooooo good ! The food was meh

We had a wonderful time. My fiance and I celebrated his birthday at Serenade All Suite resort. We booked via Expedia which turned out to be more affordable. We loved the staff and how helpful they were. Especially the bartenders at the swim up bar. The food was great. The drinks were so/so but mainly because of the type of liquor. They were well made just not as tasteful. The room seemed to have some wear and tear which was surprising because the resort is less than a year old. Aside from that the actual resort is gorgeous and has a beautiful aesthetic. It gave a very luxurious feel. Our favorite restaurant was the steakhouse. We also reserved massages at the spa which were amazing. I coordinated pickup/drop off service from the airport to resort via JetBlue and it was affordable and safe. Make sure to reserve the restaurants that you want to go to upon check in. A lot of the staff stood out to us and truly deserve promotions such as Thais, Jose, and Wilner. There were many others but I couldn’t grab the names. The only experience I was disappointed in was the way we were treated at a certain point of the trip. We were offered $50 off of spa services if we toured the family side of the resort. The tour ended up not being a tour but an opportunity to sell us a package/annual membership. We spent 3 hours being asked 1000 questions and had a very awkward experience with the staff of xpand or expo? I am not sure the exact name of the company.

The hotel property is very beautiful and modern. The pools and beach were clean. But the service and the food was horrible tasting and limited. My room had dirty sheets upon arrival and the room was extremely cold i couldn’t control my temperature. Johan helped me anytime with all the issues I had and made my trip alot better. But the staff needs to be trained better, they bring the value down of the hotel. Looks like a 5 star hotel but I would personally rate it a 3.
