TRS Turquesa Hotel - Adults Only - All Inclusive

This resort is beautiful. Pool, beach, ambiance, restaurants, staff were all amazing. Our only disappointment was not being told ahead of time some of the resort was not open due to covid. Our restaurant selection was limited, majority of pools did not have open bars, there were only a few activities available during our 10 night stay, and the spa steam and mud rooms were not open.

This was our third trip to TRS Turquesa. The resort was clean and safe and as always the staff was amazing. Great food and the pools and beach are just awesome. The bars make great drinks and the entertainment is always great. Beautifully decorated for Christmas this time on our stay. My only complaint is we could not stay longer. But we will be back soon.

Staff was rude and harass you every morning. Travel club staff do not give up, worse than being on the beach. We were charged on arrival but the hotel claims they did not receive the payment however I had proof from my bank that the payment went through, they cancelled the payment without asking or notifying me and then told us we needed to pay again or else they would not let us leave and would restrain us!!! We paid again and still have not received a refund for the first payment. Others that we met had the same payment problems where the hotel claimed they didn’t get the payment and made them pay again. The tv in the rooms do not work, we tried different rooms and others had the same issues. There was a leak in our bathroom. The AC was not working. Not all restaurants are open, and staff doesn’t seem to know what’s going on or what is open. We made reservations twice that were incorrect due to the butler not knowing the hours of the restaurant and then the second time the restaurant was closed. While the hotel is beautiful and outside is clean, food is amazing, bartenders and dinner staff are so friendly and nice....everyone else is rude and not helpful and made the experience horrible.

This property wasn't as nice as the reviews describe. I've stayed at a few all-inclusives in Punta Cana that were quite a bit less expensive and much nicer. The negatives: The rooms needed to be refreshed, the workmanship was sloppy which detracted from the place, even with few people at the resort (Coronavirus) the staff were slow to fill glasses with water etc (frustrating to work hard to catch their attention to make a request, then see them standing idly by why I waited). The food was the exact same items ALL the time- even the largest buffet only had approx 30 entree items and they didn't change all week. Indicative of the quality, there was no real coffee machines in the resort- cartridges (even at their cafe) are not what you expect from a high end place. The all inclusive Grand Bahia down the street was much nicer and 1/2 the price.

It was rare to see a staff member without a smile on his or her face. They all seemed to truly enjoy what they do. The motto "from guest to family" is embraced by all, especially by our 'butler' Judith. She was truly an amazing blessing.

Every guest was assigned a “butler” . These guys were awesome! The property is very large, and spread out, but these guys helped coordinate, line up rides, and make it awesome!

Excellent place we really enjoyed it a lot, excellent service and great experience and food. Overall excellent. Don't waste your time with the guys from Travel Club they just want to sell you membership. We didn't and we saw a lot of couples went with them.

Ok..expected ocean view and no ocean view. Rooms were just ok.
