Good hotel but nothing to brag about. Everything was good except housekeeping. The towels were old and even looked dirty when clean. My sheet was also stained. I left a note for it to be changed and the housekeeping came twice/day and still didn't change it for 3 days. Very poor service. Except for housekeeping, the staff is friendly and professional.

Family Getaway
We chose this resort for a family getaway after the holidays. Following up on previous reviews, there was miscellaneous furniture laying in walkways/open areas on a few of the days. The food was excellent and always appeared fresh. We had no concerns with sanitary conditions in the restaurants. The staff was friendly. Our biggest concerns relate to the hotels.com booking. We booked 2 junior suites which are advertised as 2 double beds or 1 king bed. In communication prior to trip, we requested one room with king bed and one room with two double beds for our family of 6. On arrival, we were told that none of the rooms have double beds, but they could provide roll-away beds. We received one additional bed, but after multiple phone calls,walks to the main desk,and empty promises,we did not receive a second roll-away bed, and one person slept on the little couch for the entire stay. Hotels.com should not advertise double bed rooms if they truly aren't available. The reservation is marked as 'fully refundable' prior to a certain date. This is not true. We needed to make an adjustment to our travel dates and contacted them well before the refundable date. Communication was awful and hotels.com stated that majestic was not responsive to their inquiries. At one point, hotels.com stated that I should request early checkout and they would refund the amount. Now, hotels.com is now stating that the won't refund. Overall, property is beautiful and relaxing, but issues are possible.

I had a package deal with shuttle service to and from airport, shuttle from the airport took almost 2 hours and very hectic also shuttle from the hotel to the airport was horrible came close to missing my plane because the shuttle driver never showed up and he said he did we waited for a hour and a half and finally had to spend extra for a taxi. The hotel room was great except for the last night i noticed I had bed bugs bites all over my leg that along with the shuttle service ruined a almost perfect vacation.

Our check in started out with some issues as our room booked wasn’t available. We were upgraded and received room credit. Our room was later available and we were moved to our booked room. The staff at the resort are amazing. Everyone is so friendly. Our butler Darel was the best! Majestic gave us a great first wedding anniversary vacation. We loved it!

Everyone is happy and smiling, they go out of their way to make things nice. The view when entering The Majestic is breathtaking and it is like that through the whole resort. The ambiance at the restaurants by the beach is so relaxing. The beach itself has beautiful clear turquoise water and the sand is super fine and powdery. There are plenty of beach chairs to choose from either in the shade of palm trees and little cabanas or in the sun. The beach is spacious and doesn’t feel crowded. Food and drinks were easily accessible everywhere. The butler service was awesome! We had a wonderful butler named David who really took care of us for our whole stay! The wait staff was also very kind. Kenny was a server at breakfast and we got to know him. Really over the top service and beautiful ambiance everywhere. We definitely coming back to The Majestic!

I recently stayed at the Majestic Colonial in Punta Cana with my wife, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed by the staff . The food options were great. With a variety of restaurants and cuisines to choose from, we always found something we both enjoyed. The entertainment was equally impressive, with plenty of options to keep us entertained every day and night. Whether it was live music, the Michael Jackson shows, the foam party or just enjoying the atmosphere, there was always something happening. The resort itself is beautiful and immaculately maintained, from the beach area to the pools and lounges. It’s clear that the staff takes pride in keeping everything pristine. This was truly one of the most relaxing and enjoyable trips we’ve had in a long time. We’d definitely recommend the Majestic Colonial to our friends and family, and we can’t wait to come back!

Amazing place. Would recommend to all my family and friends. The staff was great especially the entertainment staff and the dancers who asked us to dance with them. Very respectful and super hard working. The atmosphere was beautiful and clean. The manager Gabriel was super helpful. Can’t wait to come back!
