Love the Bergwelt experience!
We LOVED this hotel and would definitely stay again. Excellent location, food, shuttle to/from train station. Sauna and spa, hot tub experience was wonderful. You won't regret staying here.

After 5 stays in Grindwald. This was a nightmare
I have been 5 times to Grindewald and this is the worst stay ever. The night before my departure. I contacted the front desk to please help me arrange transportation to the train terminal. I needed to be at the train terminal by 0600 am. To make it on time for my international flight. I was notified that they dont start providing transportation until 0800 am. I asked for help to help me find a taxi or other private transfer methods. The staff did not have a taxi contact info. He told me to google it. He did not know the bus schedule either. He told me my only choice was to walk to the terminal early in am. With freezing temperatures, 3 females, and one of them really sick. I wasnt going to walk with all our luggage. As we walked from the train station earlier during the day. And it was sleepary and dangerous due to weather and therr was ice on sidewalks. I explained to the person in reception that I was risking lossing my international flight from Zurich. He did not seem to care. He did not make any efforts to help me find a solution. I tried contacting a taxi and private transfer but I do not speak German and did not undertand the voicemails. I ended up having to wait until 0800 am. Did not make it to Zurich on time. My sisters were flying to a destination were the arline only provd only 1 return flight from Madrid a week. So the rest has been a total nightmare. We ended having to purchase new tickets and make extra connections and spending more $$$$.

My husband and I went here for our honeymoon. I literally could not say enough about how amazing the experience was all together. From check in the staff were so friendly and helpful. Handwritten note, Flowers, champagne, and chocolates in our room on arrival. The facilities and breakfast are 10/10. They let us extend a night in our room because we didn’t want to leave. We will definitely be back again. BOOK A ROOM HERE 🙌

Just had an incredible stay here! The place was impeccably clean, beautifully designed, and had great amenities. And the views…. Stunning! The hotel reception staff were amazing, always going the extra mile to make us feel welcome. Special shoutout to Mario at breakfast, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable start to our day. Can't recommend this hotel enough for a truly exceptional stay!

We had a wonderful stay but unfortunately had a miscommunication with check in who told us we got a 90 minute spa service each included which we thought was amazing g but did question as wasn't on our booking. To be told yes that’s right. At the end our treatments were charged costing an extra $500 which was not budgeted and we would not have booked if weren’t told complimentary. This impacted our experience here a lot.

Definitely coming back
We loved staying here, definitely would come back. Beautiful views! Staff was awesome. The spa was very relaxing. The kids loved it, especially the splash hour. The breakfast buffet had a wide spread and was very delicious. Small hike up to the property, take advantage of the shuttle service. Location was great.

No personality for a boutique hotel
The staff was not very attentive or helpful with the exception of transportation driver who provided excellent service & great restaurant recommendations. The bartender has zero personality and the atmosphere was hollow. My room had trash in the bathroom and housekeeping didn’t come to clean it when I called to ask for it to be cleaned. The restaurant at night was dead. Besides a great location, there was nothing positive about the staff or the room.
