You get what you pay for.
One night stay at Ellis Island, you get what you pay for. The hotel is very economical and no frills. Very clean, but very dated hotel and casino. Restaurants were very well priced and you got a lot of food for the money. Casino is extremely small. For the price it is clean and comfortable, but don't expect much else.

We came to Vegas for a concert but all the Caesar hotels where like $1000 a night! So we stayed at Ellis which it was a 20 minutes walk to the caesar colosseum which is not bad and we’re in Vegas so why not enjoy the outdoors! Rooms we’re comfortable and we Had prime rib for dinner at their restaurant which was Amazing!!

Terrible experience. The heater did not work although they changed it, when we came back to the room after dinner. It seems working but in the middle of the night stop working and it was really cold night the pillows and maters not comfortable at all. The window could not open, so no fresh air. Stuffy room, the worst my husband and I could not really rest and have to drive 6 hrs next day to go home. Besides they charge a $40 resort fee, I would not recommend this place.

This hotel is almost ideal for a family trip to beautiful Las Vegas. The room was clean and fresh (thanks to no smoking policy), hotel's casino was quite affordable, and their BBQ was very good. I was meeting with my son who participated in a tennis tournament in Las Vegas, and we celebrated his achievement in Renaissance hotel on the Strip. Great cuisine!
