Never Again
We were disappointed with our experience at Barceló. Upon arrival, we were unexpectedly charged an additional $1,000 USD, which the staff attributed to an issue with Hotels.com. While we had booked a room for four, only two adults were included in the rate. Additionally, the hotel displayed cost rates valid from November 24-26, but when we arrived on November 25, those rates were not honored. Instead, we were charged according to updated, unposted prices, which were significantly higher.
The food quality was mediocre at best, which was disappointing for a resort of this caliber. Lastly, our group of six family members all agreed that the overall experience fell below our expectations. Unfortunately, this is not a place we would choose to return to.
