Terrible. Spend the extra $$ down the road
I travel for a living and this is probably the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. * The bed was very uncomfortable. * The pillows were paper thin. * There was Mold on/around the sink. * The front staff was rude and not helpful. * Walls were paper thin. * Party Held in Lobby until midnight, no warning until check in, no upper level rooms available. * Staff was extremely loud in the mornings. Started early hours of 4:30am. * Electrical outlets quit working. * No shelves or place to put toiletries in shower. * Electrical Outlets in bathroom are near floor level, including one near the shower.

If you want to stay in an old dorm room…
This place is like staying in a stinky dorm. Place is very run down. Lobby smells. The smallest room in dallas is which room I stayed in. The size was fine but the condition was not. The bathroom floor is visibly dirty. The ac is controlled by the front desk so you can’t change anything without reaching out to them. The wall unit makes a ton of noise - more than you can sleep through. I changed hotels as soon as I saw it and left. They also have the internet router just hanging by a cord on the wall. Go stay at the Canvas hotel instead.

Not worth it!
My sister and I spent three nights staying at the SOVA hotel. We knew the rooms were small but weren't aware they were windowless. When we arrived, our room was dirty. There was hair on and inside the bed and the floors hadn't been vacuumed. It was late and we were too tired to make a fuss, so tidied and went to sleep. The next morning, we requested the room be cleaned when we left the hotel at 9am to sightsee. We returned at 4:00pm and saw the room hadn't been cleaned. The housekeeper arrived at 5:10pm and we asked her to come back in 30 mins, as we were going out for dinner (she was happy to do so). We asked reception to let the housekeeper know we had left at 5:30pm, but were told she'd left for the day. Naturally, we were confused, and they asked us if we wished to change rooms, which we did. The second room was tidier, but the overall hotel is not one I would recommend. There were leaks when it rained, the beds were uncomfortable and upon returning home, my sister was covered in bites from suspected bedbugs. Aside from it's location and one receptionist who was helpful, there's nothing else going for this place.

Not for the claustrophobic but it’s cute
No windows but cute compact room for lovers. No tables but big bed. Also no free parking. This is def not for long term stay.

Give me this hotel experience in more cities!
What a wonderful concept. I will take lower rates, smaller rooms, super amenities, a warm reception, clean rooms, and great service all day long over big rooms. If you are in a city like Dallas, why do you want to spend your time in the hotel room? When I returned to the room, I felt perfect accommodations. As a woman business traveler, it is nice to feel safe, and this location was terrific. There is a super restaurant across the street too. I wish this concept would become a trend in other cities. Thank you for having me!

Room good, but thin walls meant I could hear people around me, friendly staff, clean and tidy. A lot of miney for just 2 nights

This is exactly what I needed— a place to sleep and clean up. There was no shower curtain or door so things got a little wet. The complimentary sangria during happy hour was an unexpected treat, and the price for the parking lot across the street was extremely reasonable. And it was only a 15min walk to Deep Ellum!
