I first start up by saying I booked on Expedia specifically to make sure I had the three rooms that we needed for our vacation. I booked three of the bigger queen rooms. I was the last of my party to arrive as we were stuck in Danbury, Ct in the horrible rainstorm. When I got to the hotel, they told me that my room was not available as they overbooked the hotel. They gave us adjoining rooms however the point of it was, we had to move all of our stuff two days later. I understand that we had the room and I shouldn’t complain, however I’m not sure that booking on Expedia was the best thing to do. I booked three rooms at least three weeks in advance. Very, very unsettling to say the least.
Again, not sure if it was Expedia or the Hampton Inn in Shelton Connecticut.
