Over the years I had heard good things about the Apple Farm - both the Inn and the restaurant. I was somewhat disappointed. At check in, the people at the desk seemed somewhat overwhelmed. We waited while one person "cleared rooms" on the computer so they were able to check people in. The other person was giving a guest dining options, but didn't seem sure where the restaurants were located.
Our only request was a quiet room -- our room was very close to the freeway. The room was well appointed, but very small -- pictures made the room look larger. No bottles of water as promised. No mention of complimentary glass of wine as promised. These were to be included with the resort charge we paid. Yes, we could have asked about these things but after witnessing the check-in process, we decided against asking.
Purchased a croissant and muffin at the bakery for breakfast - both were not very good -- and a bit expensive at $5 each.
On the positive side, the bed was comfortable and the fireplace was a nice addition.
Final thought -- we will never stay here again.
