To make things worse there was a light behind the ventilator within the ceiling flashing all night long (in addition to the blinking smoke detector of course). Staff was really friendly, but enforced ventilation and locked window are massive drawbacks!"

"The hotel rooms are totally quiet although the hotel is situated close to A12 and Europalaan. Parking was cost-free in a closed parking lot! We used our bikes to reach Utrecht downtown via a convenient 15min drive but there is also a bus connection. Price-performance ratio was good. Hotel furnishing & style are very similar to other Bastion hotels. Personnel very friendly."

"Cannot complain about the hotel / staff and an outstanding breakfast. it was quiet, clean and close to the city central area and unique been a converted convent. The rooms are really lacking a few features: Nowhere to use a laptop, the table was so small, nowhere to dry cloths, really small cups, but provided a coffee pod machine, cables to TV were so ugly just hanging out of the wall. The comfortable bed was placed far to close to the curtains making it hard get in and out of. It would not take...
