"The hotel was really good for the price. The service was amazing, the personnel helped whenever there was an issue. For example we needed extra towels to go to the beach and got them without a problem. Also the cleaning service did a good job. The room was tidied every day. However, the room itself was rather dark, especially the bathroom. From the hotel you can go everywhere you need in 10 minutes or less by bike. The bike in general seems to be more practical to move around Den Helder as...

"The staff are really nice, helpful people. The breakfast was a bit rubbish, next to no hot option. It is open 5am -10am I think. I qas £150 a night for a tiny room with no a/c and a single bed. Pretty sure i was bitten by bed bugs but i can't prove this, i may have been bitten from something while walking round town. €25 for a laye checkout seemed fair. Location is as central as it get. Theres a lively sitting area out the front, perfect for a beer in the sun or some food ( i only ate breakfast...

"This hotel is nicely located. Just a bit disappointed that they forget my very important request to put my "chocolate with a happy anniversary note" for our 26th. They did put it when we went out to the beach and come back in the room. This made my husband smile. They are also very

"This is a nice hotel in the centre of De Koog, not too expensive. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom also spacious and there is good light above the mirror. The shower is good. There is a nice restaurant attached with excellent food. My only negative is that the bed was sagging in the middle, not so comfortable."
