The room was excellent spacious, well maintained and clean (2 dirty cups on balcony but not worth complaining about) One negative was there was no milk for the tea and coffee in the room however we did not ask for any and im sure this would have been provided if asked as the staff were all wonderful and super friendly! Especially the bar man he was so friendly funny and welcoming! We only stayed 2 nights but the room was cleaned and plenty of fresh towels provided when we were happy to reused the ones from the night before. Would definately stay here again"

"We decided to take the extra 10 minutes to drive out to Hotel Gutsgasthof Stangl due to an unexpected overnight stay in Munich instead of staying at the droll options 20 minutes away. I must say it was an extraordinary decision. The property is fabulous, the staff very helpful, and the dinner excellent. We had to leave for our flight before breakfast was served so the kind staff made us sandwiches which we picked up in the morning, such a lovely touch with the stress of flight chaos. Our very short time at this hotel has inspired us to spend more time in Munich!"
