Gran Hotel Don Manuel
"Enjoyable stay. Staff friendly. Room huge. Hotel quiet. Location ideal for the Square."
Hotel Alfonso IX
"Great hotel very close to Plaza Mayor and Old Town. Small room, but it worked well. Sold as a single room, which was fair. Hotel includes a popular cafe/bar, frequented by locals. Nice to sit and have quiet drink. Breakfast is provided from this cafe. Good food. Staff very efficient and friendly, even to non spanish speaker. Overall excellent value and fully recommend."
Palacio De Godoy Caceres, Curio Collection By Hilton
"Rather than a misunderstanding that the receptionists did not explain us well about the limit of the 6 persons using the SPA (We understood that one should reserve only by rooms for 45 minutes), everything else was excellent, the decoration, the cleanness of the room and especially the breakfast which worths to pay for it. At their bar/restaurant our only complaint was that we ordered Risotto with Salmon but the risotto was just 5 or 6 spoons. The portion was very small so we decided to dine out and not anymore at the hotel. Their ceviche was excellent. The staff very very cordial and helpful too. We will stay there again and recommend it."
Hotel 4* Parque de Monfragüe
"The receptionist at check-in was amazing. The room was lovely. The restaurant was okay but nothing amazing. The location was off the beaten track but that suited me. A lovely place to relax for an afternoon."
Parador de Cáceres
"Beautiful location. Very clean. Good food at restaurant. Easy access to sights and restaurants nearby as well. Great place all around"

To fully appreciate the key landmarks and cultural attractions, a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is recommended. During your visit, you can explore various historical sites such as churches, cathedrals, castles, and monuments, as well as enjoy the natural beauty of the national parks and historic forts. This allows for a fulfilling experience while keeping your travel costs manageable, offering great value for money.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To explore last-minute deals to Talavan, visit the Deals or Last-Minute Deals section on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted rates on hotels approaching your travel date. Additionally, consider enabling email alerts or push notifications to stay informed about flash sales and special promotions, ensuring you could find opportunities to save. The Smart Shopping tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, so if rooms become available or prices drop, you’re more likely to see these updates first, helping you book that spontaneous getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so having some flexibility with your travel dates may help you save on your stay at the Talavan hotel. For those seeking distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised experience and potentially better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher end, we’ll suggest alternative dates that could be more affordable, helping you find the best deal.
- Consider your location: Choosing accommodation near major attractions or city centres may provide convenience but usually tends to come with higher prices. For more affordable options, consider looking for hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between cost and accessibility to the sights you wish to explore. You might also investigate independent hotels located a bit further out, as they can offer a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
