"Meriem and her staff were amazing. The Riad is in a quiet spot just outside the walls, convenient to everything. Taxi drivers in Rabat always use the meter and do not try to haggle a higher price. The museums in Rabat and the beautiful Atlantic beaches make this my favorite city in Morocco. Riad Meftaha is great value for your money."

"L'Alcazar was opulent with Moroccan decor. The Moroccan staff was kind and professional. Kindness was top priority. The rooms are large. There is an amazing roof top terrace with a pool. You can walk out the front door into the Medina for shopping and traditional food. I highly recommend hiring a Rickshaw to tour Rabat's King's Palace and Chellah. Be sure to enjoy the mint tea. I highly recommend L'Alcazar and give it an A . Enjoy!"

Breakfast was delicious daily and the lunch and dinner menu was best in area.
There are however excellent cafes and restaurants close by, as well as a full modern grocery store for anything you want like home.
