"This was a near perfect trip. The hotel itself is comfortable but not fancy, perfect for a relaxed island break. Being able to swim in the ocean, snorkel immediately outside the resort on the marine reserve/coral, make use of the pool etc so easily makes it a great base. The facilities are good, as is the service. The couple of minor issues I had were well handled. The resort is well located and easy to travel around the island from using the local bus. "Property was beautiful nice resort and beach front great for swimming and snorkeling private not very crowded and facilities great the only issue are the stray dogs, and cats in the resteraunts and wondering around the grounds and the roosters waking u up in the middle of the night and early am but other than that it’s been great stay would recommend the pool villas are lovely "

"We have stayed twice now at Moana Sands Beachfront Hotel. Absolute beachfront . Perfect for swimming and snorkelling . Great food and cocktails downstairs at the restaurant . Quiet location . The local shop is less than 1 km walk up the road, as is 2 other highly recommended eateries . ( Charlie’s and Little Polynesian) It was perfect for everything we needed and highly recommend. The staff were amazing "
