"We enjoyed our stay, the room was overall nice (it is true it needs some renovation which they plan to do in the winter), the gym was very good, the pool was very good with nice with comfortable beds to lay and relax around the pool. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. To mention Aviv and Mayan from the front desk and Israel from the dining room who were in my eyes professional and excellent service providers."

"Not as images, outdated rooms, same as his brother Orchide hotel just under different name, doesn't look like high class luxurios rooms. No reason to pay extra to be in these rooms. Facilities are not so good - Traqlin, pool... Better getting down to the Orchide's pool which is great. As rooms are far, every movement requires a Shuttle. The closet was broken, the shower had poor current of water in the shower, we were missing thing for 3 persons(was prepared only for 2) - all fixed after...

"I would never choose to stay anywhere else in Eilat. If you ever close your eyes and dream of the perfect vacation a d the perfect hotel, then Herods Palace is that place! Hard to imagine something better. Eilat plus Herods equal perfect vacation. Almost anything i could say would not be enough or do it justice so I hope the 2 key words - perfect vacation- would convince anyone to give it a try! "

"Wonderful the breakfast is out of this world. Room with wonderful balcony overlooking the gorgeous pool, rooms clean coldly . Walking distance to the city activities. No beach would be the only down side but I’m not a beach person so doesn’t really matter. No complimentary water and a little skimpy on the toiletries ( two people but only one bottle of each shampoo/conditoner etc) trivial but would be nice to be able to say this place is really spectacular. "I arrived on the first day to check in. I was treated badly and disparagingly by the receptionists as if they were doing me a favor. I got a room with a shocking view even though I was promised a room with a sea view Finally, after proof, they changed my room with a very disrespectful attitude, as if they were doing me a favor.
