"We had a delightful stay at Brooks Cottage for my daughter's graduation. The room was beautiful and very tastefully decorated. We slept like rocks on the comfortable mattresses with the airconditioning blasting away the Pretoria heat.

"A lovely property with good staff, great service, and very comfortable rooms. We found this boutique hotel online and a very happy with our stay. We had friends who were from outside of Joburg join us, they have not heard of this facility, and they will return.

First time travelling with our 4 month old so I forgot to put them on the reservation (that's on me for sure) but rather than an understanding, accommodating welcome, we were greeted with an dismissive, accusatory tone that I would not expect from a 5 star establishment that cost over R2000/night.
