"What a gem!! Definitely the place to stay when in Greenville, or even to visit specifically as a vacation. It’s not in the city (about 15min drive) and that’s the beauty of this place: it’s away from touristy stuff, and in the middle of nature, but close enough to the city that you can always go and visit. The service was 6 star! All the staff were super friendly, and while a part of it is “southern hospitality “, there for sure is an added factor of the culture of the hotel. Great dining options in the hotel, spa, surrounded by nature make this a must see. "

"All of the staff were fantastic. But one person especially stood out. The social hour was particularly busy with huge crowds. At a couple of minutes before the buffet was due to close and the staff was starting to clear up things 2 women walked up and started through the line. Penny, one of the ladies managing the food bar, very graciously handed the ladies their plates and smiled sweetly. Penny is a jewel. BTW, she was back smiling the next morning. "

"Very nice property and awesome breakfast, as always! Room was comfortable and clean. Only issue we have is parking charge. Not happy about this. My brother came by to see us and was told he would also have to pay $9.00. He left. "

"Lately, I think all us older generation feel for the way corporate America runs their retail/chain hotels. It seems to me that only having one manager on the floor after normal daytime hours is really lacking responsibility when it comes to customer service and security/safety. The manager assisted in giving me the item that was missing in my room. He offered to bring it up for me. But being that it was in at the time that the office starts to get last minute registration requests, I felt he was needed to manage the front desk. It is rare that I find issues with the hotels I scheduled through Expedia. This particular hotel's owner/manager could use consulting on what needs to be done to bring this facility up to presentable general condition. We all know from the news what the staffing issues are since going through COVID and inflation. We wish all these places and businesses all the best in moving forward it this present time."
