The Trail Inn - Newberry, MI - 13467 M-28

8/10 Good
"The motel was really good about communication overall. We ended up checking in after midnight and so our main objective was just finding a place to park, finding our unit and getting to sleep as soon as possible. Our room was very clean and the beds were pretty comfortable with plenty of pillows provided. I don't have any issues with the motel or the property with the exception of the communication and advanced should have included something with regards to parking that is available for anyone towing anything. We had a boat behind us and when we pulled in, it was pretty dark and we weren't sure where to park it, so we parked the truck and the boat off on the grass a little bit, making sure to leave space for people that were parked near the motel to be able to pull out safely. After we got in the room and settled in I saw that there were instructions on the back of the door about where we should have parked. If this information had been communicated in advance of us getting there, we would have known that there was a separate lot off the one side of the motel that we could have parked in. Other than that it was a very pleasant day and met our needs."
