Only hotel in Drachten. Convenient to reach by car or public transport

Central location and comfortable room and bed. Breakfast was very good; nice choices of cereals, breads, hot food. Dinner menu was not exciting; our burger was disappointing. We enjoyed our stay there and would happily return in the future.

Our stay at Stenden was a very pleasant one, where we found all the students who were doing their practical experience in hospitality in this hotel to be friendly and eager to help where they could. The room was modern, bright, well proportioned and very comfortable, with little complimentary extras,ie, little chocolate bars and small containers of nuts and dried fruits. The breakfast was good . Our hotel stay started with turning up to the wrong Hampshire hotel. Apparently there are three! Once we got to the correct one it was nicer than the first one we visited. The staff were lovely. Features I liked were the spacious and very clean room. Good bathroom. Private sauna that can be booked for an hour. Coffee machines on each floor. Short walk to many restaurants. I would stay again.

Clean, modern, automatic doors and a lift. 400 metres from bus stop to Groningen. Stayed there for 3 nights as was going to Dutch MotoGP TT at Assen. Easy bus and train trip costing about 21 euros return. Good food, good bar prices.

Pleasant stay, hopefully get to stay again in the future. Thank you!
