This castle is a must experience. The room was amazing and the staff were friendly and helpful.

We are a family of 4 with 2 teenagers and we had a family room, which had 2 seperate bedrooms & a basic kitchen ( no working oven/stove) and a view over the Main Street. It was on the 3rd floor with no elevator. breakfast was very nice and we also ate dinner here which was also good.The wifi was a benefit & worked well. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here & would recommend it.

My friend and I throughly enjoyed our stay at this motel. The family owned motel was well looked after, breakfast was great and the location is fantastic. We would highly recommend the hotel and the family running it are lovely. The owner accommodated us with any request we had, including storage of our hired push bikes. Breakfast was great. Romantic stay in Assmanshausen. Top location, fantastic service by all staff. Very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed ourselves so much, that we decided to stay another night.

Beautifully positioned right on the Rhine River and close to Koblenz. Great staff and the room was large, bright and clean. Couldn't fault.

The staff here were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is very nicely set out but the rooms are are on the small side of small and no kettle, coffee maker etc. The location of the hotel is great being directly across the road from the river, within walking distance of anywhere in town and a short drive to Burg Eltz. Good location, if you luck you can park in hotel for free. The hotel does not provide any coffee and tea bags, if required an additional charge of 8 euros.

The staff were friendly and attentive. We particularly enjoyed sitting in the garden on the very balmy evenings - beautiful atmosphere. The out door and function areas are spacious with nice artwork.

Great host and friendly staff made for a most enjoyable stay. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was excellent. Had a charm all of its own.
