This place is a gem. A bit hard to get to, the road is narrow and bad, but well worth the trip! As its name suggests it is right among the vinyards with views to rival Tuscany. The hotel is lovely, my stay was late in the season but it is obvious how pleasant it would be in summer with the wonderful terrace and the large pool open. My room was elegant, with a rustic touch. This hotel is located in the historic area of Pavia close to the main square and good restaurants. While we booked a hotel room, our accomodation was actually a 2 bedroom apartment 2 doors down from the hotel proper. The apartment was well appointed and secure. Parking was off site - secure and very cheap. Breakfast was included in our room rate and served in the small foyer of the hotel. This is what I would describe a 'boutique hotel' - just a few rooms and a small but very friendly staff.

A couple with a young child booking a 3 bed room. Perfect for our travel stop-over. We ate dinner in the restaurant which was great. The staff at check-in/out & in the restaurant were lovely. The inclusive breakfast had a huge selection. Oh & it’s quiet & beds comfy. Perfect for our stopover.

What a wonderful place to stay. Friendly and helpful staff, cosy and comfortable and easy to get to Milan by train.
