"It was in a nice area. I stayed for two weeks. The room was clean, but it really depended on who you got to clean your room. For my room I usually got an Indian couple who didn't once make the bed, I'm not even sure they vaccumed the room everytime. On a few occasions I got a woman who did a great job of cleaning the room, she made the bed and vaccumed. In the two weeks my sheets were only replaced once. I thought hotels changed the bedding daily. They should at least make the bed daily. It was a dog friendly hotel and I had my dog with me. They charged $25/day for my dog. It would be nice if they had dispensers outside with bags for your pets poop. The breakfast was descent. I would consider staying again. There were several maintenance things on the property that needed to be addressed that clearly were deferred."

"The good: Amazing balcony space with a beautiful view of the harbor, the museum and local landmarks. Absolutely lovely. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchenette had many great features including a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and was stocked with clean dishes. Very close to restaurants, bars, and things to do. Very helpful staff. Nicest bathroom I've ever seen in a hotel. The not so good: There was damage to a window's trim that prevented the window from being opened. There was no screen on the balcony door so leaving it open to enjoy the sounds and fresh air wasn't an option unless we wanted a room full of flies. You need to utilize public lots for parking, and it is a bit challenging to find reasonably close parking spots. It's adjacent to several bars and restaurants with lively patrons so the potential exists for it to get pretty loud, even into the evening or early morning. The bad: not a lot of variety in adjacent restaurants and the liquor stores all close early. Out of dozens of hotels we've stayed at in dozens of states, this one was pretty close to exceptional and we wouldn't hesitate to spend time here again in the future."

"the sheets and towels were well worn, but not stained. the room was a bit stuffy but not enough to complain about. Overall acceptable. Breakfast was typical continental with some additional hot options, and very well attended, so better than average. The exterior of the property blends very well into the wooded surroundings in a way that feels serene and calming. I did not get a chance to use the pool, but it looked inviting and well-maintained. I would stay again."
