We stayed at Shanti Maurice to celebrate a significant birthday and this hotel delivered perfectly. The villa, which was large and well appointed, was located on a spectacular, empty beach with stunning views and a plunge pool. It is hard to imagine a more amazing location. The staff were very welcoming and the service mostly excellent. I would love to stay there again.
Amazing service, the best service I have had in mauritius and this was our 7th time in mauritius. Staff are amazing. Rooms are big and spacious with a huge bathroom area. Amazing choice of restaurants. I will definetly be back

The food is great at dinners but very poor breakfasts. They can cook some eggs and the rest from the buffet: yogurt, tasteless bread, some cheese and musli - that’s it. Overall a nice stay but no more than 2 nights
The hotel is in a quiet street, but within walking distance to the bus station and the main shopping area of Mahebourg. While the architecture is odd in places (part of the appeal), and the street front not particularly appealing, there are great views from the roof terrace and across to Lion Mountain. A beautiful quiet location, we were able to relax which was the purpose of our trip. Staff were amazing, friendly and did everything they could for you. Pools were kept clean and plenty of loungers there and on the beach. Only negative is price of taxis to get anywhere but that is no reflection on the hotel. Would highly recommend
I went on a business trip and stayed at this hotel. The hotel is very close to the beach and is well secured. The room was very spacious and very clean and it gets cleaned every day. The staff members are very friendly, helpful and available anytime to assist. I fully recommend this hotel as you really get value for money. I also recommend it for families as well. For sure I will book again for my next trip there.

We stayed at this wonderful resort for a night last week- definitely not long enough. Everything was perfect. Exceptionally good and friendly service from everyone. The resort is at one end of the beach with its own bay. It felt very exclusive. Would love to go back one day.
Loved that the villa was homely but luxurious, having its own personal pool in the back yard. The villa had all the requirements of a home and the washer/dryer was very useful.
The location is great. Walkable to a handful of restaurants - Roots Spirit, Happy Rajah, Medium Rare Steakhouse and Jiva Coffee - All recommended.
It was also a great base to see the South west of Mauritius, lots of sights within a close drive.
