Hotels in Alkoven

As others have said. Sutomatic light in toilet is annoying during the night. When checking in, it asked for country of residence and Australia doesnt exist. So we said Austria. It worked! Good size room for this type of hotel. Big enough even for a second chair but there isn't one.

This is a very nice hotel. Check-in was simple; we could choose online or in person at the 24hr reception. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely and clean. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was spacious. We appreciated the fridge and coffee machine. The highlight was the exceptional breakfast, which we enjoyed every morning. The hotel itself is within walking distance from the main train station - we had wheelie luggage and it took about 20 minutes. The "shopping centre"...

Loved this hotel! It is in one corner of the Hallstatt market square and our room and balcony looked down into this vibrant hub with views of the lake seen between the buildings. Newly renovated inside... The rooms have the most comfortable beds and great shower facilities. The food was very good in both the dining room and the breakfast area. the best part of the hotel were the staff who were extremely welcoming, helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this place!

Great breakfast. Room controls are a bit confused. Renovations contractors need to consult OH&S as they would be fined in most countries for their work practices. Overall the hotel is great. We had a very memorable stay.

Great little town if you want a rural setting. Super comfortable beds.

The Art Hotel was just a happy experience. All the staff were helpful and spoke English. ( great for Aussies who don’t ) Muller the barman. especially , was super keen to please. Over the bridge from the main square was great, nice and peaceful. Not expensive but let’s face it, as tourists we only need a good bed . Too busy out all day and half the night exploring. Great hotel with nice amenities

A fabulous hotel, reception was friendly, helpful, a smiling welcome. Rooms are lovely good size, we had a front street view, quiet area at night, hardly any disruptive traffic, so you can leave windows open at night. No aircon in our room, but there is a fan for air circulation which is all you need. I love the soft sound of the church bells in the morning, a gentle wakeup call. Good variety for breakfast, lots of natural light in the dining area, roomy. Easy walk into town, to bus area,...
