"We had a memorable stay at the Hotel Prisenhof. Centrally located in the heart of Gronigen, there were numerous shops, restaurants and points of interest all within walking distance. Our room was on the upper floor of what we learned was previously a monastery. It had a lovely view of the garden and was very spacious, although we wished it had more natural light. Our bed was extremely comfortable and the room was clean and quiet. If you are driving, a tip is to park overnight at the Forum...

Clean , modern room with TV, nespresso coffee machine and tea, a (remote gas fire) fireplace, shower and bath tub. The plug sockets are baby-safe. There was an excellent choice for breakfast with inside and outside tables in the restaurant across the street that is part of the hotel.
