"Very convenient location, lots of walkable shops and grocery stores, winter and summer sports equipment rental shops, right in front of the Lake Tahoe, great view, the hotel has a dry sauna, outdoor firepits, which adds ambience. The gold club right next to the hotel. What I didn't like: since we were at the first floor, we can hear guests above our room walking or dropping things, it was little bit loud, the walls are not soundproof enough, even in the morning you can hear guests walking on hallways, and it was loud. "Semi local person who travels only 2.5 hours to get to Tahoe. Stayed many times at many locations. This has so far been the best and most convenient form the hwy 50 side coming from east bay instead of taking 80 straight up. Surprised how unbelievably comfortable and welcomed we felt and very reasonable price. Can walk to almost anything we wanted including a block or two from the marina.... Huge wine. I will take my family here again. "
