"very convenient location, the staff are super friendly and helpful. the room was very spacious and comfortable with separate kitchen, dining and sitting area. the complimentary fruits and bread and food in the fridge are great. I really enjoyed my stay there. Highly recommended."

"Our family if 6 stayed here. Everyone loved this hotel. Breakfast was awesome! The people working were so kind. We are a bit weak in Spanish and they were very patient with us. Very close to old town square. This place felt very safe even though we we’re staying in Quito during the protests. "

"I loved my stay at Casa Gardenia. Location was very convenient to restaurants. I felt safe walking at night to go out to dinner. The hotel was multi level and had a great view of the city on the 3rd floor. Breakfast was good with bread, fruits and eggs. Staff was very nice. I would stay here again. "

"While I booked this hotel, it is currently under renovations. I wish Cesar would have let me know before as I arrived in the dark with my Uber driver telling me that this is not a safe area. Thanks to the drivers help we finally established that I was staying at Blue Door Housing instead. It’s a beautiful old building and Cesar is truly an amazing host. Didn’t have potable water the first night but after complaining, Cesar made sure I had some the following day. If a message was sent to me where...

The hotel is based next to El Ejido park which has quite a lot of shops and things going on. Which is handy for food and also shopping. The artesanal Market of mariscal is just 8 mins walk away
It is also handy to walk to the old town. Takes about 15 mins
The breakfast is basic but good with a variety of fruit, eggs and bread and coffee

"I stayed at the Fenix hotel with my family. We have a great experience, the attention of the staff was excellent, the hotel was clean as well as our rooms. The breakfast was varied and the staff was attentive to stocking the food during it. Although the area is high traffic, the rooms we were assigned allowed us to rest without interruptions. I'll be back in the future!"
