"transfer" was not ready for us in town. Waited more than half an hour for a rickety old work truck. Had to jump into the back by stepping on the wheel and held on for dear life as we bumped down a "road" that was basically just boulders. VERY DANGEROUS. Then told to pay for our "taxi" ourselves. A water transfer was supposed to be available which would make the arrival MUCH better.
Very quickly learned that unfortunately, they just DON'T know service! The bartender, King, was it's only saving grace- but he was only there for 1 of our 3 days, so we had no access to our "all-inclusive" drinks for 2/3 of our time there, even though pre-paid. The manager was absolutely apathetic and although the only guests of the THREE CABIN location, we seemed to be a giant inconvenience. They have only one tiny menu on offer and they ran out of all but one appetizer by day 2. Also, they could not even poach an egg for breakfast. DO NOT pay for the all-inclusive it is not worth it. There was a fantastic bar down the beach that was incredible, friendly, and offered up their own cooked dinner, for free!
Although the location and buildings are beautiful, there are not many other positives. Rooms had cobwebs, pool was unclean, and the food got old real fast. It is a place with potential but at present, they don't seem concerned with serving guests or providing the best experience. Bottom line- if you pay only for the room, you might be content enough, but don't expect much else.
