Spacious room, wonderful staff
We absolutely loved our time at the hotel. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we were given tremendous service from the entire staff. The room was excellent (very spacious and well designed), and the pool and amenities were a perfect addition to our wonderful stay in Cambodia. Highly recommend :)

When my taxi driver finally found this hotel it appeared to be shut down. Gates were locked and the locals selling food right outside said they were not aware that the hotel was running. It’s in a very inconvenient location. Assuming it was closed/out of business, I left and got a different hotel. Also, do NOT believe the pictures of the property. It may have been nice pre-covid, but covid has hit this town hard and many hotels are out of business. However, somehow they are still booking on CheapTickets. This happened to me twice on this trip.

The staff are extremely attentive and make every effort to compensate for the hotel’s shortcomings. There is no food available on site, so don’t count on the breakfast that’s supposed to be included. I was told to order (and purchase) breakfast through the FoodPanda app, but it only works with Cambodian phone numbers. The pool is beautiful, but collects leaves, which were only partially cleared out after I mentioned it. I also had to ask for my room to be cleaned and towels changed after that hadn’t happened by day 3. The lock on my door required several minutes of struggle each time I left or returned. I realize they’ve had a lot of challenges with the pandemic in addition to Cambodia’s overall economic issues, and appreciate the effort the staff made — it’s still a good deal, as long as you don’t mind living on instant noodles from the shop and having to ask for everything (including an electric kettle for making noodles…).

Disappointing
I have used this hotel numerous times in the past and it is convenient for where I need to be, but this time (post-covid) was very disappointing. It was scruffy and unmaintained (the pool had many tiles missing, the gardens were overgrown etc), the rooms were clean but smelled badly of damp as they had not been used, and there was no food or refreshments of any sort available, not even a cold beer or a coffee. The last, at least, should have been made clear on the website prior to booking. The manager and staff were pleasant and helpful as always, and we understood the impact the pandemic had had, but it was not a good experience and I am unlikely to return there next time I'm in Siem Reap.
