Clean hotel, friendly staff, and great location. It's not a resort hotel by any stretch, doesn't even have a pool, but it's centrally located to everything and everywhere along the endless "Beach Strip.

The location was 10 minutes from the public beach. The internet and Wi-Fi was down several times in my two day stay , the worst experience I had in all my travelling done. Asked for an extra pillow for confort to sleep better at night and never was sent to my room. When called the front desk they said they didn't have any and would let me know, never ever had that answer in any hotel I asked for an extra banquet , pillows or towels. Not very service oriented , but more of a controlling management .

We stayed at the hotel for 7 consecutive nights. Hilton covid guidelines are to clean rooms after 4 days we were told by front desk. Well, I don’t know if it’s hotel’s management or some miscommunications but we had to ask them 3 days in the row for someone to clean our room. After night 6 they finally did. Meaning, we had to ask for new towels and personal care items almost every day. Our stack of used towels was pretty big by day 6. It also means they don’t take your trash out for 6 days!! So most people leave it outside their room and it stands there for a day until they finally see it. It looks like covid is used as an excuse to cut cost at this hotel. They charge the same rate while providing less cleaning services and serving same boxes breakfast every day. We overheard other guests having same cleaning issues as we did.

This hotel was the best Hampton Inn we ever stayed at and was beautifully appointed, clean, quiet and safe. The location is great and close to some amazing restaurants, canal activities and shopping. We happened to be there to see the Christmas boat parade from the Houston's dockside restaurant. Great all around stay. Thoughtful details abound here!
