The hotel offers a transfer from airport to hotel and back that don’t even existe, the room smells horrible. The whole experience has terrível. The hotels structure was great, but not for a four stars hotel.

Good wifi and hotel was clean and staff friendly. Great location for airport but lots of traffic to the centre during early morning and late afternoon. Avoid rooms facing the road because of noise.

Had a good time the hotel staff was amazing. The food was good and everything was maintained well. The big negative is that it makes no sense for them to provide WiFi because Google is blocked. So visitors can’t search for local activities. Also I speak English and I couldn’t even use Google translate to communicate. My stay was good but this hotel would not be my first choice if return for that particular reason.

The Samba Hotel is a really nice hotel in Luanda. There was an incident with the booking where Hotels.com did not specify the room that we booked to the hotel. Therefore our room was not available when we arrived. The hotel accommodated us and the manager was very helpful after everything was understood Hotels.com and Expedia need to do better communicating with the properties so the hotels are not trying to fix a mistake not made by them.

Great but there is room for improvement
Overall, my stay at Hotel Samba was quite enjoyable, but there is definitely room for improvement.
The hotel is very clean and well-maintained, which I appreciated. The location is quite convenient, being close to Luanda Cabo, making it easy to explore the area.
The bar service was good, However, the service at the reception desk could be faster, staff seemed overwhelmed at times. Improving staff awareness and responsiveness would greatly enhance the guest experience.
The pool area has potential but currently lacks loungers and towels readily available, which would make lounging more comfortable and convenient.
Regarding the dining options, I found the buffet style somewhat limited and overpriced. I would prefer an à la carte menu for more variety and better value.
Overall, a good stay, but addressing these areas could make it a much more outstanding experience.

Eugene the resident manager helped us out at every turn. The check-in front staff needed to see my Expedia reservation confirmation. WARNING: None of my USA Visa or MC creditcards worked at the hotel or the airport; there is an ATM on the street in front of the hotel. Eugene had to escort me to go use it to pay for my restaurant bill. But, there were at least 30 locals waiting in line and four armed security guards who let Eugene and me cut in line so that I would not miss my flight; I felt out of place and guilty. The restaurant food was exellent, but overpriced; Eugene offered a 20% discouut for the previous night's dinner. The breakfast was included at the same hotel restaurant and it was very good. If you don't speak Portugese, you will find very few English speakers, but almost everyone we encountered was nice and tried to help.

The Hotel was very unhelpful. For everything you would ask, they made excuses. The toilet wasn't clean.
I had made a mistake to book an extra night but they didn't agree to cancel it.

Os funcionários da recepção eram simpáticos, porém tive muitos problemas nesse hotel. O mais grave foi que quando cheguei em casa, percebi que 100 dólares desapareceram da minha carteira que deixei no cofre do hotel, e este foi o único momento que ela ficou desacompanhada. Não deixem nada no cofre, pois é o local mais óbvio para roubos!!! Além disso, internet não funcionou na maior parte do tempo. Alarme de incêndio tocou 4 da madrugada e tive que ir para recepção pela escada, para descobrir que era fumaça do exaustor da cozinha. Não tinha chaleira no quarto para fazer um chá. Restaurante só oferecia opções de buffet, e nada a la carte, obrigando a consumir o buffet somente. Não tinha transfer para o aeroporto. Enfim, foi terrível. Não recomendo, e não piso lá novamente.

Localização Estratégica + Excelente Café da Manhã
O Hotel Executive Samba é o hotel ideal para quem viaja a negócios para Luanda, ele está localizado a poucos minutos do aeroporto, possui um excelente café da manhã (excepcional mesmo!), quartos limpos, um ar condicionado muito bom e um excelente chuveiro. E sua localização é muito estratégica, pois fica na Estrada da Samba, estrada essa que liga a cidade alta (centro antigo) a Talatona (parte nova de Luanda).

You have not provided any service to me after collecting my money. The hotel never recieved your confirmation and so charged again for the 4 nights I stayed there. I have sent several messages but you don’t care. It’s just unfortunate I have been dealing with such an insensitive organization that can collect my money and leave me alone in a foreign land. I am very disturbed.

1) l'hôtel ne trouve pas ma réservation alors il me donne une chambre standard alors que j'avais réservé une suite.
2) de jours plus tard j'obtiens enfin ma suite. Aucune compensation venant de l'hôtel pour ce désagrément.
3) ma suite ne fût pas nettoyée un jour pendant mon séjour. Après cet oubli aucune compensation venant de l'hôtel.
Environ proche d'une "autoroute" donc très bruyant. Éviter les chambre côté rue.
Piscine... 1m de profond..... pour patoger.
Salle de sport..... pas de clim donc étouffant.
Restaurant : bonne cuisine.
Réception : difficulté à parler anglais.
