Facilities need to be more human centered. Identifiers are inappropriate in some places. Used modern sensor based technology and most of the people are struggling to figure out the operation. We had a fantastic time during our stay of 7 days. We have stayed at many international hotels around the world but none with such a friendly and helpful staff. Wherever we went in the hotel, we were made welcome and our comfort was the hotel staff's topmost priority. We utilized the Spa, the Gym and the two restaurants JW Kitchen and Vintage Asia (both were superb in food variations and tastefulness). Among the front desk staff, Simran was exceptional and so was Neha with their warm behavior and caring attitude and follow ups. In the Spa, Achi and Vinu were exceptional and helped us get rid of severe pain in our bodies and relax us. Diksha and Ayushi made us feel so very welcome in the two restaurants and took care of us with the reservations and well as our day to day breakfasts. Anil (chef) from the JW Kitchen reached out to us whenever he saw us and made us feel welcome and ensured that we were served with whatever we needed. In the Gym, Arindam assisted us with the access to machines and followed up with towels and water bottles during our workouts. And overall Paromita made sure that I/we had someone who we could reach out to in case of any issues. However, the staff were so professional that we didn't get anything to complain about during our stay. I/we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone in the world. If anyone wants to experience warm Kolkata hospitality, JW Marriott Hotel Kolkata is the place to stay.

A great stay at Marriott, Kolkata Rahul Sharma at the JW Kitchen, Neha Singh at the reception are just a few names who made this trip memorable. All of them are great. This hotel and its employees make you feel good and welcome. Cleanliness, Warmth, Great decor and wonderful desserts. They have everything to make you feel good. Will stay and recommend others to stay there again. It was my first stay there. Will come back again. Only suggestion for improvement can be addition of more Bengali cuisine to their set menu Keep up the Great Work

I booked the hotel for my friend who was visiting me after 10 years. I thought it was weird that the lady at check in counter asked whether we were friends — our relationship should be of no consequence to her and this question could have been misconstrued in several ways. From desk staff should be better trained in which questions to avoid.

I asked several time to take my food after the dinner, the reaction is bad for 5stars hotel. Also I told several time that I changed my check out, but people called and asked about the car for leaving, the time of leaving. At the pool the drinks are in very old plastic glasses. For 5stars hotel the service is not good.
