This is a no frills budget option that should only appeal to people wanting to maximize value and are willing to accept a few compromises. Issues I encountered:
- no lighting in the elevator lobby before you get past the second set of doors, so I had to use my iPhone light to even find the handle to the second door
- dark stairwell and corridors as they are unlit and have no sensor activated lights, they are all manual switches on timers that you need to locate by looking for the small green light on each of them, good luck seeing the stairs in an emergency
- circuit breaker was tripped as soon as I turned on the lights to the room, the receptionist knew exactly where to reset it, so I presume it's happened before
- furniture was plentiful but very rudimentary and uncomfortable, the stained couch and bed were way too firm, and one of the easy chairs was basically a wooden box frame with very thin upholstery
- while lying on the couch, I encountered three bed bugs in about half an hour
- after taking the couch/bed apart, i did not find any serious infestation, but found two other bigger bugs of some sort
- I kept my bags packed and did not put anything near the couch
- the bed in the other room seemed fine after a close inspection, so I slept there instead
- there were a lot of extra linens and pillows in numerous cabinets, to the point where you know that they aren't regularly cleaned
- no shampoo, only hand soap provided
- air conditioning is an extra cost
