The female staff at the front of house were lovely! Always wanting to help you with anything food, drink, info. With me being on my own they made sure I didn't feel lonely. Having a computer to use helped me a lot. Breakfast experience was good! Not overcrowded like other hotels. Bathroom very modern with touch sensor toilet and good shower spray. Loved the big TV screen!

It was a bit scary as when I got there, it didn’t look safe; it was full of people at the entrance, and the main door was closed with a chain. The room was OK, the hotel the night was a bit noisy as people were moving around and you could hear them

Flexible and friendly
I was a late check it. After midnight. They stayed waiting for me and let me into the room to get to sleep without full rigmarole at check-in. We can sort everything out in the morning was the very flexible attitude, for which I was most grateful.

The bed was awful. It was a thin (3 inch mattress) on the top of the box spring that kept sliding around. If you did not sit or lie on the mattress in just the right position, you were in danger of ending up on the floor.

Amazing gem of a hotel!
This is a hidden treasure and not a typical chain hotel. It was the most charming on our trip and right in the heart of the city next to the cathedral yet it was quiet. The owner told me it's been in her family for generations and it shows. The hotel is full of antiques and charm from the ceiling beams in the reception room to the crystal chandelier and things around. Our room was very large for 3 people, beds were fresh, clean and a candy was left on our pillow. Bathroom was updated and nice shower. DEFINITELY get the breakfast - it is served on fine china with brass silverware and crystal glasses. It's all made fresh and timely - they kept bringing our fresh platters of scrambled eggs, crisp bacon, sausages etc. Don't miss the fresh orange juice machine!! Pastries were incredible - I wanted to try everything. This was my favorite hotel on our 6 day trip - the love and attention to detail really made us feel special. Highly, highly recommend.

Verblijf Den Bosch - koude douche
Hotel is prima gelegen in het centrum, echter koude douche!!. Receptie vertelt zonder enige schaamte dat dit vaker voorkomt omdat de boiler het niet aan kan. Schandalig als je 250,-- per nacht betaald.

Koud he!
Twee dagen koud water uit de douche. Uiteraard direct kenbaar gemaakt en een vriendelijk briefje aangetroffen op kamer bij terugkomst. Volgende morgen gewoon weer koud water. Bij teruglezen eerdere reviews blijkt dit al weken te spelen. Ook koud op gangen. Wanneer je dit in weken niet krijgt opgelost is dat gewoon heel erg slecht of gewoon een heel bewuste bezuiniging..... Beide geen goede reclame en voor ons echt een smet op een toch niet bepaald goedkoop verblijf.
