Requested a room on the first floor and where there have been no dogs. Apparently no one paid any attention to that because neither of those were available at my checkin.

Road Crews Are A Regular
The front clerk moved us to the only room available on the opposite side of the hall after complaining about the smoke coming into our room from the room across the hall. It was an upgrade which nice.

On historic Rt 66
Overall our stay was good. A bit rocky at first. The gentleman at check-in was a bit short with us. Perhaps the fact that their computers were down had something to do with that. Anyway, the room was comfortable and the breakfast good. Enjoyed touring around Shamrock, which is on Route 66. The Mesquite Steakhouse was a good choice for dinner.

Stay here!
The Best western Plus Shamrock TX has been the beat place we’ve stayed on our 5000 mile trip! Their breakfast was unbelievable! Eggs to order! Everything from waffles, sausage biscuit gravy to non gluten. Great cook. Great check in gal! Large room great price. It was a welcomed treat for us!
