Great location at a decent price

For the price it was a decent place to stay, the location was excellent for what I needed, as I was attending Mount Sinai Hospital for a procedure. You can tell it’s not a full hotel, but again for the price, it’s definitely a place that I would consider staying again if I needed to go back to the hospital for anything

I booked thru Expedia. A taxi later( not really necessary as chestnut st is very close to union station. Would have liked extra pillows! Unfortunately, constructions begins way too early. A good place to stay for the light traveller.

    No issues

Okay, so I stayed there first over 10 years ago as a visiting student. Obviously, I feel about it differently now, but if you're a student, this is quite good! No issues w the temperature of the room, no issues w noise (I've been a few places before that have a loud AC, but this one didn't bother me and I'm finicky when it comes to that), no issues w the front desk people, they're nice, and i suppose if you want eggs for breakfast, this is great, breakfast is fine, in a school type cafeteria where you have to bring your dishes back to a special disposal place. Basically, if you're looking for a basic place, this is still fine. Seemed clean enough. Located a 3 minute walk from St Patrick subway station.

    Acceptable for the purpose

Clean, comfotable as expected. Needed to turn the air conditioning on after checking in, not on arrival back at 11PM, but that's my mistake.

  • 4.0.Fair

No towels, handcloths, or toiletries in the room...went down to front desk and advised the desk clerk..said shed contact housekeeping asap, but couldnt promise we'd have towels before checkout at 11 am....by 9:05 am no sign of housekeeping, and because we had a long drive home, we decided to check out. So needless to say, very disappointing that we couldn't even shower!! Plus, the beds were hard, not comfortable, and the breakfast was mediocre

Central location. You cant control A/C, too warm for August month which outside temperature is around 70F average. The bed is too firm. But in general not bad for one night Parking is located cross the street and its cheap.

  • 2.0.Poor

The location is great, but the building is rather old. The room looked empty with just a desk and a kid size chair. The air conditioner looked ancient and, although it was working, it was super noisy looked broken. The carpet was thin and almost non existant. The curtain was old, smelly and fixed . The mattress was thin with palpable metal springs and definitelt uncomfortable. The bed sheet was marked with a stamp and again very thin from being used for a long time. The pillows were micro in size and barely there. There was no iron or ironing table. Oh and the bathroom looked like it was built way back in the 1960s and everything in it was small and not user friendly. The concierge personnel were not available before midnight. Breakfast was also disappointing with very limited options and it was hard to find the coffee with kid size plastic cups and everything was not very tasty.

WOULD NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE

Arrives at 2:30am due to a flight delay, upon arrival, there was no front desk to check-in, or to get the room key for that matter. We had security walk us to our room to open the door, very awful smell in the hallway on our way to the room. The pictures on their website are not even near to reality, the beds which I was told based on the description, it was for two, well, I'm not a large person but let's say you could only fit a teenager on that bed, not to mention the smell and look on the pillows and blankets, you can almost see as if they had been used and not washed after. Thanks to hotels.com who answered my call at 2:30am and gave me a piece of mind and searched for another hotel nearby.
